Beech Tree Medical Practice, Rugby
I am a GP Partner at Beech Tree Medical Practice in Rugby, where I lead on finance, operations, and service development. I’ve introduced in-practice minor surgery and musculoskeletal services to improve patient access, and helped our practice gain accreditation as a GP training site. I supervise medical students, FY2 doctors, and GP registrars, and I am passionate about developing a resilient, well-supported primary care workforce.

Abbie Martin
Southam Surgery, Southam
I’m Abbie, a 5 session GP partner at Southam Surgery. I completed my graduate entry medical degree from Warwick Medical School in 2008 and completed my GP VTS training in Coventry and Warwickshire in 2016. Prior to obtaining my medical degree, I gained experience in the private healthcare sector and pharmaceutical industry.

My name is Ed Baker, I work in Primary Care as a First Contact Practitioner Physiotherapist, with over 15 years of clinical experience in Primary Care and interface services. My expertise spans MSK clinical specialties, advanced practice, first contact practice, and strategic planning for MSK services.

Lizi Mattacola
Primary Care, Coventry and Warwickshire ICS
I am a First Contact Practitioner Occupational Therapist working in Primary Care in Coventry, where I’ve spent the past three years pioneering the development of a new Occupational Therapy service. My role has placed me at the forefront of workforce transformation, enabling me to contribute to service development that respond to the changing needs of our communities.

Vicki Purser
Forrest Medical Centre, Coventry
I have worked as a 4 session GP Partner in Coventry for over 15 years. I am a trainer and until recently, worked as a Training Programme Director, helping deliver the AKT module, mentoring resident doctors and supporting local GP trainers. I am also Associate Dean for GP recruitment in the West Midlands and a GP Appraiser.

Helena Paolozzi
Central Surgery, Rugby
I am a Practice Nurse based in Rugby, working 3 days per week. I joined General Practice in 2023, after having worked in the NHS for 40years and I have recently completed the New to Practice Fellowship (Sept 2025)

Dina Powell

I am Dina and I currently work a duel role as Business Manager of Trinity Court Surgery and Digital and Transformation Lead for a PCN.
My professional interests include transformation and change management and I have an MBA in change management

Dave Pearce
Revel Surgery, Brinklow
I’m Dave and I’m a 6-session GP in the Rugby PCN, also doing 2 sessions a week for a private telemedicine company. I first came to Warwickshire as a fresh faced 18-year-old to do a Biochemistry degree, and apart from an adventure doing A+E in Australia for a year I have been here ever since.
