Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging

Starting this month we will be including a bimonthly EDI section within this newsletter – focusing on particular topics. This month we are focusing on belonging and how it is interlinked with Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

EDI in any workplace creates a sense of belonging amongst employees. When individuals from diverse backgrounds feel valued and respected in their organisation, data shows they are more likely to be engaged.

By creating an environment in which everyones voice is heard and considered, your organisation can tap into a wealth of diverse perspectives…leading to increased collaboration, productivity, and overall staff satisfaction.

Employees with a strong sense of belonging outperform others on almost every metric, from engagement & retention to performance & wellbeing. Leadership supports this and data reflects that employees are 6 times more likley to feel a sense of belonging where leaders support equality, diversity and belonging.

Please see above image and below links on the importance of Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging in the workplace.
