Looking after you and your team
Looking After You coaching provides confidential wellbeing support and is available to everyone working in NHS primary care.
This is an opportunity to prioritise and look after yourself whilst you continue to look after others. Over 10,000 primary care colleagues have benefitted from coaching – and so could you.
Coaching about you and your wellbeing
Individual coaching that focuses on you and your wellbeing. You can talk about things like:
- the pressures and challenges you are facing
- how you are thinking and feeling
- coping with the demands of your role
The coaching is designed to support you to develop practical strategies to cope with your situation and stay well. Book a coaching session here
Peer wellbeing sessions
These sessions will bring together 6-8 people alongside a trained coach to discuss and plan how to improve and maintain your wellbeing. You will participate in four one-hour virtual group sessions in a safe and supportive space.
The aim of the peer wellbeing sessions is to:
- help build a sustainable network of peers
- facilitating peer support and new connections
- providing an opportunity to bring together people with shared experiences to support each other in a psychologically safe space
Individual coaching for managers and leaders
If you lead, manage, or organise a team or group in primary care you can access this offer to talk about things like:
- thinking through how your team is working together
- developing ways to improve team relationships
- developing a more compassionate and collaborative culture.
The coaching can support you to make small improvements that enable healthy team working. Book a coaching session here
Virtual team away day
You can book a team away day for you and up to seven members of your team.
As the team leader or manager, a coach will work with you individually beforehand at an initial session to design the virtual team away day to suit your objectives and to ensure the session focuses on your team needs.
Following this, a date and time for the virtual team away day will be confirmed. Book your initial session here.
Non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy beyond Dry January
Whether you’re trying to cut down on your alcohol intake for the sake of your mental health, you’re just trying to be healthier or you’re simply taking part in Dry January, getting clued up on the best non-alcoholic drinks and alcohol-free tipples is paramount.
Here are some of our favourite non-alcoholic or low alcohol drinks

Tanqueray’s Alcohol Free 0.0% gin features the same blend of botanicals used in their original Tanqueray London Dry Gin, just without the alcohol.

Nozeco is a great and affordable non-alcoholic drink for parties, I always put a bottle of this in my basket should I spy it in the aisles in Tesco or ASDA.

When it comes to non-alcoholic wines – Eisberg, a widely available, alcohol-free brand, more than know how to create a palatable one.

This, Guinness 0.0%, is for the people who know their beers, stouts and ales and want an alternative that’s actually going to fool them into thinking it’s the real deal.

Reminiscent of its alcoholic sibling, this will beat any fruity cider cravings you may have in an instant. An excellent choice for picnicking.

Budweiser has a booze-free option designed to wet the whistles of anyone thinking about reining in their drink units. Expect the same iconic full flavour and crisp finish, all at zero per cent – and ony 46 calories per serving!
