It’s been a busy month for the Professional Curiosity Scheme with the first of the shadow placements starting to happen within multiple specialties across the region. Over 35 pairings have now been matched with the hope of completion by the end of November in preparation for the celebration event which we hope to host in January!
This month saw Lucy and Jyothi (Consultant Gynaecologist SWGH) spending valuable time in each other’s shoes learning about the similarities and differences within their roles and how better they could work together. The team can’t wait to hear about the experiences of others and if you like the idea of getting involved then it’s not too late. Whilst Round 1 of matchings has now all been allocated, we are hoping to be able to offer a similar setup early next year for those who missed out this time around.
