Here are the latest updates from our Health and Wellbeing team for October, featuring an update on our Health and Wellbeing Champions, updates to our Vivup scheme and highlighting tools to support your wellbeing and mental health.

Health and Wellbeing Champions

Last month we welcomed Laura Williams to our Health and Wellbeing Champion team to lead a pilot project to support all staff working in PCNs across Coventry and Warwickshire that do not currently have their own named Champion. The pilot will run from 1st September to 31st March 2026. This has been introduced as staff wellbeing across general practice in Coventry and Warwickshire has been highlighted as an area requiring support, which was echoed in the most recent General Practice Staff Survey (GPSS). Shapes Masterclass Webinars – 16th October

The next masterclass from the Shapes Team will take place on the 16th October, with the next session titled “How to spot signs of overwhelm and deal with stress and anxiety on the frontline“. Further details will follow as the session is confirmed by the Shapes team.

Vivup Updates – from the 1st October

From 1 October, Vivup and Perkbox will merge into a single unified platform under the Perkbox name. For now, staff should continue using their existing Vivup accounts with no immediate changes. As we learn more about this rollout, we will update you all. Updates will also come directly from the Perkbox team. Access your Vivup account here.

World Mental Health Day – 10th October

World Mental Health Day is celebrated every year on the 10th October. Poor mental health is not inevitable, and World Mental Health Day is an opportunity for us all to talk about mental health and consider how, together, we can help everyone have better mental health.

As World Mental Health Day approaches, we want to highlight apps and tools that you can use to support your own wellbeing.
