The Faculty for Advancing Practice will be hosting a webinar in collaboration with Aston University regarding their new Master’s programme for allied health professionals and nurses working in Ophthalmology to enable their progression as Advanced Clinical Practitioners.

Aston University’s MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice in Ocular Health is based on the Ophthalmic Common Clinical Competency Framework (OCCCF) and is open to Optometrists, Orthoptists and Nurses working within the field of Ophthalmology.
As part of the programme, optometrists can gain independent prescribing status along with College of Optometrists accredited professional certification in the areas of Medical Retina and Glaucoma as part of the course.
