Medical Aid Ukraine is a fundraising initiative supported by The On-Call Room, a forum of over 11k doctors across the UK, and direction by the Ukrainian Medical Association UK.
They are raising money in aid of the British-Ukrainian Aid charity which uses the funds to supply medical aid directly to those in need who are affected by the war in Ukraine.
They are procuring medical equipment and medication specifically requested through direct links to those providing medical care in Ukraine. They are also asking trusts to donate these products so we may get the right items to the right places.
Fundraising
A team of healthcare staff, family & friends, will be travelling the distance to Kyiv and back to the UK, each week over the next month, by running, cycling, swimming and rowing, starting on 3rd March. These four return journeys will cover a distance of approximately 25000km.
If you work for the NHS and would like to join our challenge, please join FB forum ‘Medical Aid To Ukraine’ to find out how.
We are asking anyone who is able, to make a donation to help support the victims of the atrocities in Ukraine, whilst also simultaneously motivating us along our journey. No donation is too small.
Thank you for your generosity.
