A note for you..
I wanted to take a moment and share a personal thank you to all of you that have supported the CWTH health and wellbeing programme this year; with your support, engagement and advocacy of the programme we have seen it grow and flourish this year.
A huge thank you to our team of health and wellbeing champions who are without a doubt an inspiration and who without, we would not be able to fulfil the mission of a happier and healthier workplace for all.
Whether you celebrate the festive season or not, I hope you will have the opportunity to put your feet up at some point and spend this time with those closest to you.
I understand the immense pressures you are under on the run up to the new year and so if you need someone to talk to, tips or tools to make the day a little easier, please take a look at the support available to you below or visit our wellbeing page.

Putting your wellbeing first

I hope you’re really well and looking forward to wrapping up 2023 on a positive note. We know this is a really busy time of year, when it can be a challenge to make time for any extra training or development.
So we were thrilled to see some staff making time to show up live to the December session on “How to stay mentally fit at work” webinar – and we would love to see more next year.
If you couldn’t join us live, then grab a cuppa and a sofa and watch or listen to a recording of the webinar.
Januarys webinar: How to embrace your limits, say no and deal with pushback
Next month’s webinar is on Wednesday 10th January at 7.30pm
In this webinar, we look at the fact that many professionals are experiencing overwhelming workloads, and that the pressure on our services is increasing.
We talk about how it’s just not possible to cram yet more into an already overscheduled day, and that the only answer is to prioritise what’s really important, set boundaries and say no.
At this online training you’ll learn you’ll learn:
- How to get crystal clear on what you can control and what you can’t control
- How to decide what’s really important so you can prioritise and say YES with purpose
- A simple toolkit to help you deal with pushback and say NO
This will be a practical, helpful session focused on actions you can use at work straight away. It’s designed specifically for healthcare staff so the tools are tailored to the pressure you’re working under in a stretched system.
