How to Avoid Burnout on Repeat

In high-stress professionals’ demanding and fast-paced work, burnout is a common occurrence. You face pressures from yourself and your work, pushing you towards the edge. No one wants to burn out, much less repeat this challenging experience.
You have the choice and the permission not to let yourself burn out. Tune in to this episode to find out how to do this.
On Your Feet General Practice!
On Your Feet Britain® – is your chance to get the ball rolling and encourage your employees, colleagues or even your manager to take a stand. Team up with colleagues and see how much you can reduce your “sitting time”.

“Get up offa that thing”
The On Your Feet Britain® challenge encourages you to take James Brown at his word and convert ‘sitting time’ to ‘standing time’. Make some simple changes – it’s easier than you think:
- Stand during phone calls
- Stand and take a break from your computer every 30 minutes
- Use the stairs more
- Arrange standing or walking meetings
- Eat your lunch away from your desk
- Walk to a colleague’s desk instead of phoning or emailing them
- Stand at the back of the room during presentations
Ramadan Mubarak

Wednesday evening marked the start of Ramadan. We want to wish colleagues who are observing Ramadan a very bless Holy Montth.
To help leaders consider how best to support colleagues who may be fasting or observing Ramadan, the NHS Muslim Network has created guidance outlining what the holy month means and how we can support colleagues’ health and wellbeing during this period.
